In modern printing, there are two main types of printing - digital and offset. Both methods of printing have their advantages and features. These types of printing are in great demand among owners, both small enterprises and large companies.
Digital printing makes it possible to produce a small print run in a short time (often 1-2 hours). However, this type of printing is more expensive than offset printing. Production of materials takes place on a special digital equipment, which prints files from various electronic media - flash drives. This method of printing uses not an offset, but a direct technology of applying a dry toner, as in printers. This type of printing does not require a permanent form and can be used at once several layouts for one print run. In turn, digital printing is also divided into flat and large-format digital printing. Flat printing is used in the production of business cards, booklets, leaflets, brochures, catalogs, etc. Large-format Outdoor (outdoor application) and large-format Indoor (interior application) digital printing is designed for drawing images on a special materials: oracal, banner grid, vinyl, photo paper, canvas, textile, etc. Digital printing usually uses digital laser and InkJet equipment from such global brands as Xerox, Epson, Canon, HP. Printing can be either color or black-and-white depending on the customer's desire.
Offset printing is a type of printing designed for medium, large or extra-large print runs, which in the end can significantly reduce the cost of a single copy. Offset printing takes considerably more time to produce than digital printing. The offset method is often used in the manufacture of brochures, catalogs, booklets, notebooks, etc. The word "offset" is translated from English as "transfer", which is typical for this method of printing. The paint is transferred to the paper through the intermediate aggregate. Utilizing offset printing, it is possible to use an additional Pantone palette of colors, allowing you to get more bright and high quality image at the output.
